Building Vocabulary Packaging Suite
Building Vocabulary is an educational resource kit aimed at educators in need of a comprehensive Language Arts tool focusing on word roots. Each boxed kit contains a Teacher's Guide and a Student Book as well as Digital Resources. Product development involved extensive branding mock-ups to explore the best way of meeting the product’s ultimate goal: creating a connected group of resources that would progressively "build" engagement for both teachers and students.

Professional Book: The Write Thing
Newbery Medal-winning poet and author Kwame Alexander’s professional book, The Write Thing, is full of typography, illustration, and student-inspired lifestyle photography reflecting Alexander’s exuberant personality and zest for reaching out to educators and students. Chapters and workshop lesson plans are designed in an organized, yet hand-drawn manner to directly connect Alexander’s voice to the reader’s brain.
Primary Source Reader: Juliette Gordon Low
Designed specifically for school districts in Georgia, this Social Studies Grade 3 Reader tells the story of Juliette Gordon Low, founder of the Girl Scouts and revered feminist hero, through historically-sourced imagery and contemporary illustration. 
Professional Development Book: My View, My Voice
My View, My Voice is a series of leveled professional books targeting educators looking to strengthen productive debate technique, oral argument, and persuasive writing skills. Watercolor and brushstroke elements were used throughout to convey learning to speak and write with flourish.

This Social Studies kit packaging and book cover were designed with a Photoshop montage of three iconic visuals which represent the state of Louisiana. The box also contains a comprehensive collection of individually designed and printed documents, maps, photographs, articles, and other materials based on the history of Louisiana.
Fiction Reader: Out of This World
A dream illustration and children's book project! Character development, storyboard layout, and Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop work all came together to create a vibrant and very fun early learning reader.
